Author Silvia Gonzalez S, music composer Jerry D. Gonzalez, and puppet maker Mark Saltzman came together to produce a musical puppet show about book banning. Author Silvia Gonzalez S, music composer Jerry D. Gonzalez, and puppet maker Mark Saltzman collaborated to create a musical puppet show addressing book banning. Concerned about the prevalence of book banning in the country, Silvia sought support from The Center of Cultural Power in the form of a Disrupter Grant to produce a play about this form of censorship.
